ARX1200 Fuel Tank Recall
Honda has determined that, over time, the fuel tank on your ARX1200 can crack and leak fuel after having been exposed to chemicals commonly found in many aerosol sprays used by ARX owners and dealers to clean the engine and prevent oxidation of metal parts. Even a small amount of chemical exposure can lead to cracking over time. If fuel leaks into the hull it poses a risk of fire and explosion in which the operator and passengers could be seriously injured or killed.
A new fuel tank and fuel tank mounting system was developed and we are currently making repairs. All repairs for this are being done by appointment only. Call to schedule an appointment.
